Can I have one subscription for both platforms?

Apple and Google use two different payment systems, therefor you need two different subscriptions if you want to cross platforms like that. If you stay within the same platform ex. Apple/Apple or Android/Android, you can host the app on multiple devices without being charged a second time. In order to do this, you will need to be signed into the same apple id, or for google it would be the same google play account, on each device.
